Prince Harry arrived in southern Africa on Tuesday less than 24 hours after attending an awards ceremony in the UK alone.

The Duke of Sussex flew straight into Lesotho from the UK, making this the third solo trip within the last month that he has taken without his wife Meghan Markle, 43, by his side.

While the prince is in Africa to promote the work of his charity Sentable, the duke also stopped by for lunch with the Royal Family of Lesotho, where he was pictured with a popular but lesser-known princess.

In a smiling photograph, Harry was spotted with Her Royal Highness Princess Senate Seeiso, 22, the eldest child of King Letsie III and Queen Masenate Mohato Seeiso.

The princess, who recently graduated from the University of Ottowa, shared a picture of her and Harry on Instagram and wrote: "Had the pleasure of hosting The Duke of Sussex today for lunch."

Although she carries out royal duties in Lesotho, the princess is one of the lesser-known royals around the world, which may be because she will not take the throne when her father’s reign ends.

This is because only males are allowed to inherit the crown in Lesotho as a result of the current succession laws, which means her younger brother Prince Lerotholi Seeiso is next in line to the throne.

The princess, who also has a younger sister Her Royal Highness Princess ‘Maseeiso, also has more freedom than certain senior royals in the UK and shares snaps of her life on Instagram.

In a number of Instagram highlights, the princess shares pictures of her royal work, along with images of her holidays, trips abroad, and friends.

Prince Harry is believed to have also shared lunch with the King of Lesotho today, along with other members of the family.

He is likely to be in Africa for a few days before jetting back to his Montecito mansion where Meghan has been staying with the couple’s children Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
