Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie could "spark tension in the Royal Family" after major move, it has been claimed.

Eugenie and Beatrice joined Prince William at Buckingham Palace garden party last month, with many commentators suggesting that this could mean they are set to become official working royals.

However, a PR expert has now suggested against this and that the idea would not work due to the "emergence" within the family.

As reported by GB News, PR expert Grayce McCormick - who is the founder of Lightfinder Public Relations - said: "The emergence of new working royals may fuel comparisons and competition within the Royal Family.

"It could potentially lead to internal tensions or conflicts that could damage the monarchy's public image."

King Charles, Queen Camilla and Prince William currently stand as the three main working royals at the moment with Princess Kate absent.

Aside from these three, Prince Edward, the Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke of Kent, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester are also classed as working royals.

The Princess of Wales stepped back from public duties earlier this year following major abdominal surgery - and hasn't been publicly seen since Christmas Day.

Unrelated to her surgery, Princess Kate revealed in March that she was undergoing chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made the decision to step down as senior working royals back in 2020.

The couple now reside in the US with their two children - Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.

Prince Andrew also stepped down from royal duties in 2019.

Earlier this month, Eugenie and Beatrice were warned to "keep their heads down and quietly get on with their lives".

Speaking to GB News, Luana Ribeira - the PR guru and founder of Dauntless PR - said: "For Beatrice and Eugenie, there is also the 'Prince Andrew factor'.

"Although they cannot be held responsible for the words and actions of their father, I think their current strategy of keeping their head down and quietly getting on with life is a wise one for them."

With the sisters marked as non-working royals, both Beatrice and Eugenie have their jobs outside the Firm and are not funded by the UK taxpayer.
