Prince Harry is "a lost little boy" alongside his wife Meghan Markle, whose strength "makes up for his own weakness", a royal commentator claims.

The couple wed in 2018, before stepping back as senior royals two years later and relocating to California where they are raising their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. But a Palace watcher now warns that the dynamic of the relationship is unequal.

Speaking to The Mirror, Royal author and expert Tom Quinn said: "No one has ever doubted that Harry and Meghan do not have an equal partnership – when Harry famously said, ‘what Meghan wants Meghan gets,’ he neatly summed up the situation."

"Harry has always come across as a lost little boy, overprotected by the Royal family as a child and then suffering the death of his mother he has always seemed unsure and indecisive, always searching for a strong partner who makes up for his own weakness," he continued, adding, "Meghan is very much that partner."

"She is ambitious, determined and a real fighter – Harry always tries to fight alongside her, but the battling, complaining Harry we see now did not exist before Meghan‘s arrival on the scene," he claimed.

A representative for the Sussexes has been approached for comment.

Prince Harry gets 'very upsetting shock' over Meghan Markle statement

Prince Harry had a "very upsetting shock" after his strongly worded defence of wife Meghan Markle was quietly deleted by the Royal Family.

In November 2016, the Duke issued a statement against the "racial undertones" in the media's reporting and treatment of Megahan, but this has since been removed from royal.co.uk.

Royal author Tom Quinn, claims the removal was a "very upsetting shock" for Harry.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, he said: "The statement was a scathing attack on the press and King Charles knows that he needs to keep the press on the side and work with rather than against the media.

"For Harry removing the statement will be a real and very upsetting shock – he will see this as the Royal Family shutting him down, erasing an important part of the anti-media crusade Harry has waged for so long."

He said Harry would have wanted the statement to remain on the Royal website "as a permanent reminder that Meghan and Harry are victims not aggressors."

Meghan Markle would never have gone to Duke of Westminster's wedding due to one key reason

Meghan Markle would never have Prince Harry had he decided to attend the Duke of Westminster's wedding, an expert has claimed.

Sources claimed Harry and Hugh reached a "mutual agreement" that it would be best for him not to attend, and Meghan wouldn't have travelled with him due to concerns regarding their security in the country.

The Telegraph's royal editor Hannah Furness told Hello!'s A Right Royal Podcast that she would not return to the UK until the security issue is resolved.

She said: "There is quite a heavy narrative that Meghan and the children won't be coming back until they can resolve this security issue to their liking. But he [Harry] will certainly be coming and going."

How Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want to be the next Beckhams - and why it won't work

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle "would like to be" the next Beckhams but "they aren't on the same level", an expert has claimed.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun he believes the Sussexes "would like to be" the Beckhams, but that you "can't compare" the two couples.

He said: "The Beckhams and the Sussexes aren't comparable, they aren't on the same level.

"There isn't a modest comparison other than the superficial, because you've got those who've basically survived decades, and they're absolutely huge.

"So I don't think there's any possibility of Harry and Meghan resembling that level."

Both couples have appeared in Netflix documentaries, the Beckham's was released in October and racked up 208.5million hours in three months. The Sussexes' was released a year earlier and in 2023 received 72.9million hours of viewing.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to make major U-turn to boost Sussex brand

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could include their children in their future projects, a royal expert has claimed.

Royal author Tom Quinn suggested this could happen soon now that the couple have hinted at plans to embark on more visits abroad to promote their work.

Speaking to The Mirror, he said: "Harry and Meghan are incredibly proud of their children, and when they are a little older and better able to travel, there is no doubt they will be taken on some of the couple's tours.

"Meghan is acutely aware of what a great look this will be, the charming royal couple with their charming royal children will attract the sort of publicity that Harry and Meghan crave, especially now that they are so determined to be billionaire entrepreneurs."

Prince Harry and Meghan 'frauds' over Archie and Lilibet decision

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been slammed as "frauds" by a royal expert who called them out for their "elitism".

US-based journalist Lee Cohen said it's "infuriating" how "the self-proclaimed champions of equality and social justice, are even contemplating enrolling their children in an in an exclusive, outrageously expensive school".

He told GBN America: "Their supposed commitment to progressive causes is nothing but a facade. If they're willing to indulge in this epitome of elitism, there is no advocating for equality. Yet they're willing to pay staggering tens of thousands per year for their children's education.

"How can they possibly justify this when so many families struggle to afford even the basic necessities? Sending their children to such a prestigious institution completely exposes the frauds that Harry and Meghan are. By perpetuating the very systems of privilege that they claim to expose."

Prince Harry warned 'UK fed up' after Duke 'throws his toys out the pram' for major reason

Brits are "fed up" with Prince Harry "throwing toys out the pram" over his fight for taxpayer-funded security protection, an expert has claimed.

Talk TV host Mike Graham said he and many others are losing patience with the the Duke. He said: "I'm getting a bit fed up, as I'm sure most people in this country are with this kid refusing to take no for an answer, throwing his toys out of the pram every time he gets told he can't have something.

"And using not just his own money stupidly to pay loads of lawyers, but making sure that the taxpayer is also billed to the tune of hundreds of thousands of pounds just because he can't get his own way."

Prince Harry's 'stomach-clenching moment' revealed after missing key royal event

Prince Harry's rift with the Royal Family caused him to miss out on commemorations of the 80th anniversary of D-Day, an expert has claimed.

Royal commentator Katie Nicholl said on The Sun's Royal Exclusive show that it was a "pretty stomach-clenching moment" for the Duke to watch the celebrations knowing he could not take part.

She said: "Every time we cover the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday if there's anyone that's earned the right to be there and to lay a wreath, it's Prince Harry because he fought for his Queen and his country in Afghanistan twice.

"And I can only imagine, and we were talking about how happy is out in Montecito and I believe he is, he'll be watching those D-Day commemorations.

"He was a soldier for a big part of his life as we know through the Invictus community and I think it's a pretty stomach-clenching moment for him where it's that realisation that despite what he did, he wasn't a part of this because he's not a part of the working class Royal Family."

She added: "Currently, we don't know whether he [Harry] did anything in Montecito, but if he did, he didn't do anything publicly.

"And you'll remember that one Remembrance Sunday when he and Meghan were photographed laying a wreath and that backfired on them so badly.

"So I think they've learned from things like that so it must've been a hard moment for him to watch these two days of commemorations in Normandy and in Britain and know that just like being a soldier, he wasn't a part of it."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry face 'significant problem' after royal snub

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not been invited to Trooping of the Colour, which has reminded them of just isolated they are from the Royal Family, an expert has claimed.

Publicist Michael Levine said this would cause a "significant problem" for the couple as they reflect on their "ongoing estrangement" from the family.

He told The Mirror: "This continued exclusion of Meghan and Harry from Trooping the Colour is a poignant reflection of their ongoing estrangement from the core of the British monarchy.

"Their absence for the second year running underscores the deep rifts that persist despite the pageantry and tradition that define the Royal Family. It's a stark reminder that personal conflicts can ripple through the public spectacle even in the most revered institutions."

Levine added that the decision not to invite the Sussexes poses a "significant problem" for the couple.

King Charles 'directly asks Prince Harry to stem the leaks' after Sussex media blitz

King Charles "directly asked" Prince Harry to stop publicly leaking secrets of the Royal Family, a royal expert has claimed.

Royal Expert Tom Quinn said the King is trying to stop the public finding out about things "that might cause trouble" as his strained relationship with this son intensifies.

He told The Mirror: "Harry has been asked directly by his father not to write or say publicly anything further about the family or his brother that might cause trouble.

"And everyone knows that when a King asks you to do something there are going to be consequences if you do not obey.

"Over the years that Harry has complained about his treatment by his family he has had just one aim – to get an apology and to see his father and brother make amends.

"Harry just can’t see that complaining in private might work; complaining publicly just makes things worse and in Harry’s case that means more and more ties to his past being severed."

Prince Harry slammed as he ‘can’t believe’ he’s not in VIP category during security row

Prince Harry "can't believe" he's not in the VIP category that would afford him automatic state security as his legal row with the UK government rolls on, a royal expert claims.

News broke this week that the Prince has been given the green light to appeal a case he lost in the High Court against the Home Office, which downgraded his protection detail after he stepped back as a senior royal in 2020.

The Duke wanted the appeal to be heard by the end of next month, partly due to fears the ruling would influence how other countries approach his security, but this was denied.

Levin claimed the fact that British taxpayers would contribute to his protection is a "joke".

The royal watcher noted that a judge previously concluded that the Prince was not in a comparable position to those in the “other VIP category” who are entitled to state security.

"So he was - sort of - put in his place," Levin told GB News, "but I don't think he can believe that."

Meghan Markle 'sticking to one royal tradition' when raising Archie and Lilibet

Meghan Markle is sticking to one royal tradition while raising her two children in California, a royal author has claimed.

Royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet going to the best schools possible will be non-negotiable.

He claimed: "Meghan has always been determined that her children should grow up with a very good relationship with their mother Doria so it’s no surprise that Doria is the live-in nanny.

"One of Meghan‘s difficulties when she was a working royal living in the UK was her lack of experience in dealing with staff so in Montecito she has kept paid staff to an absolute minimum.

"But if she’s avoiding the royal tradition of paying people to do the childcare, she’s certainly sticking to the royal tradition of sending children to elite schools."

He added: "Lily is lined up for £47,000 a year private school. Early on there were rumours that Meghan and Harry might send their children to a local state school but that was never really on the cards.

"It made it look as if the couple were trying to be as ordinary as possible but no one was fooled.

"Apart from anything else, Harry wouldn’t countenance risking his children being educated in anything other than in an elite environment. Choosing an elite school is very much in the royal family tradition."

Meghan Markle 'banned' from using this British word and fans are astounded

In an unearthed interview which recently emerged on TikTok, TV producer and writer Aaron Korsch claimed the Duchess of Sussex was told not to use the word "poppycock" on camera, with the revelation leaving royal fans non-plussed.

Markle came to fame by starring as Rachel Zane in the popular legal drama, and the instruction was said to have come before she wed Prince Harry in 2018.

Korsch said the planned line was supposed to be a nod to an in-joke.

"My wife’s family, when they have a topic to discuss that might be sensitive, they use the word 'poppycock,' he explained.

"So, in the episode, Mike and Rachel were going to have a thing, and as a nod to my in-laws, we were going to have her say, 'My family would say poppycock,'" but he claimed the Royal Family "did not want her saying the word".

Korsch said he believed the intervention was made over fears the clip could be cut to make it sound as though the Duchess had used a rude word.

"They didn’t want to put the word 'poppycock' in her mouth," he said. "I presume because they didn't want people cutting things together of her saying 'c***."

Korsch explained that as a result "we had to change it to 'bulls***.'"

Prince Harry snubbing pal Duke of Westminster's wedding is 'very sad'

Prince Harry did not attend his good friend the Duke of Westminster's wedding on Friday in what one royal expert has called a "very sad" moment.

Hugh Grosvenor married his girlfriend of two years Olivia Henson at a lavish ceremony Chester Cathedral that was attended by Prince William but not his brother.

This snub came as a surprise to many as the Duke of Sussex shared a much closer relationship with the groom, but reportedly chose to stay at home in California with Meghan Markle so attention wasn't detracted from the couple's big day.

There was also the added awkwardness of Prince Harry having to interact with his estranged family, his relationship with whom has become increasingly strained since he and Meghan stepped down as senior working royals in 2020.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said there was a "sadness" surrounding the event as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex missed "the wedding of the year".

He told The Mirror: "To feel you have no choice but to miss the wedding of the year is very sad. However, the deep rift within the Royal Family has ensured that Harry and Meghan were never going to accept an invitation to the wedding of Hugh Grosvenor, Duke of Westminster, godfather to Archie and a close friend of Harry. They knew William would be there, reportedly as one of the ushers."

He acknowledged the "media storm" that would've occurred if the Duke and Duchess had accepted their invitations.

He said: "They also knew that their presence would cause a media storm, especially since Meghan has not visited Britain since Queen Elizabeth's Funeral."

Real reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer friends with the Beckhams

The breakdown of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship with David and Victoria Beckham was down to one of the Sussexes's key moves, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been enjoying a close relationship with the Beckhams, with Harry and David being reportedly friends for years and Meghan even endorsing Victoria's brand.

But the Montecito couple's departure from the Royal Family and subsequently Britain has had an effect on their once-concrete bond, according to a royal expert.

Veteran royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams suggested that the royal couple's bashing against the royals was the catalyst for their friendship falling to bits as he described the Beckhams as "very patriotic".

He told the Sun: "There's no doubt that the Beckhams are very, very patriotic - they are great supporters of the Royal Family.

"I suspect strongly, and this is just my view, that they didn't like the way the Sussexes monetized their Royal connections for gain."

Prince Harry 'could make move that would end' Royal relationship, expert claims

Prince Harry could make one move that would "end" his relationship with the Royal Family for good, a royal commentator has claimed.

There are rumours that the Duke of Sussex is working on a second book to follow up his first bombshell memoir, Spare, which is said to have enflamed tensions between the two camps.

But should this second book be released, revealing more of Prince Harry's secrets, royal expert Tom Quinn has said it would put "an end to Harry's relationship" with his family.

Speaking to The Mirror, the royal author said: "Publication of a new book with yet more revelations about fights and bullying would certainly put an end finally to Harry‘s relationship with his family, even though there isn’t much of that relationship left anyway."
