Meghan Markle made one particular move on Princess Eugenie's wedding day, which left Sarah Ferguson "furious", it has been claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their first pregnancy with Prince Archie to the Royal Family at Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank in October 2018.

But the announcement allegedly left Fergie, as she is known to family and friends, "furious" as she believed the duchess stole her daughter's "limelight" on her big day.

Journalists Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett wrote in their book, Royals at War: "Meghan put her foot in it when she decided that it would be the ideal moment to announce that she and Harry were expecting their first child.

"This was a huge social gaffe, even if you were not a royal – stealing the limelight from Eugenie, who was furious, as was her mother, Sarah."

Prince William and Harry were banned from school activity - but it was for sweet reason

Prince William and Prince Harry were sent to Ludgrove School when they were eight-years-old, and the headmaster had one rule in place to ensure they were shielded from the Royal family's marital issues.

Headmaster Gerald Barber took it upon himself to shield the royals from the family gossip making the rounds in the tabloids during their time on campus.

"Ludgrove was extremely good at protecting him and later Harry," said Dickie Arbiter, former spokesperson for the Queen. "It took them out of troubled waters.", reports the Mirror.

Mr Barber implemented a ban on newspapers within the library and monitored all TV viewing habits of students.

A former pupil of Ludgrove School has disclosed: "The Barbers were more than equipped to deal with the princes. William and Harry weren't the only members of a royal family to attend the school and they certainly weren't the only children to come from dysfunctional homes."

Queen told Princess Diana same important thing on her wedding day as Charles

Princess Diana and Prince Charles' wedding was watched by millions, but the couple's body language told a different story, and a lip reader has now revealed the Queen's advice to the young bride.

Years have passed, and it's widely acknowledged that the marriage didn't live up to its storybook beginning. Nevertheless, the splendor of the wedding day itself remains undiminished.

According to a lip reader who spoke to MailOnline, a private exchange occurred between Diana and her then mother-in-law as they greeted the masses from the palace balcony. The Queen, they revealed, encouraged Diana to acknowledge the dedicated spectators who had "all day to see her."

Furthermore, the lip reader claimed that Prince Charles complimented his bride with the words "you look perfect" upon first laying eyes on her during the ceremony and gently prompted her to hand over her hand, before affectionately uttering "kissy."

Prince Andrew's life of isolation at Royal Lodge: Watching TV in darkness as King cuts funds

Prince Andrew has reportedly become a prisoner of his own pride, according to a close pal of Prince Charles.

The Duke of York, aged 64, is supposedly refusing to leave the Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, Berkshire, and there are whispers that the monarch wont continue to support his brothers inflated lifestyle.

This leaves the Duke increasingly solitary and pitiful within the grand Grade II listed house. Sources suggest that the Duke "spends his days watching television in a darkened room".

The insider claimed: " An associate of Prince Charles commented: "As things stand, life at Royal Lodge is set to become increasingly cold and uncomfortable for the Duke.

"The only question now is when he will realise that he has become a prisoner of his own pride - and that handing back the keys will afford him far greater comfort, and the continued support of his family."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at crossroads with looming Netflix contract expiration

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are bracing for a pivotal period as their lucrative Netflix deal, worth an eye-watering $100million (£78.6million), approaches its 2025 expiration date.

Yet, with the clock ticking towards the conclusion of their current contract, they've been cautioned of potential financial strain in the near future.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told The Mirror: "They are working on new programmes for Netflix and Meghan has launched her lifestyle blog, American Riviera Orchard.

"They have lost Spotify, rather curiously Lemonada Media, which Meghan has joined, reportedly intends to place her podcasts on ice until next year. Nothing has come of rumours about Meghan and any political ambitions she might have.

"If they lost this contract, with Archewell their business and charitable foundation, having so few donors, they might well be in financial trouble. Since their exposure to royal life has made megabucks, but little else has made money, the Royal Family better hope that this unpredictable and ruthlessly ambitious couple stays with Netflix."

Queen Elizabeth's delightful reaction to winning £16 at the races

Queen Elizabeth II was known for her love of horses and horse racing, and she was incredibly successful as a breeder and trainer, with her passion for the sport rubbing off on King Charles.

Royal enthusiasts were quick to highlight the endearing nature of this moment, noting the evident joy of the late Queen as a clip of her attending the races re-emerged online.

The brief footage showed the usually composed monarch in a more relaxed and enthusiastic light at Epsom Racecourse during the Derby back in 1991 when she was in her 60s.

The documentary 'Elizabeth R' captured a delightful scene where the Queen was seen dashing to the balcony to witness her horse, Generous, triumph in a major race. With binoculars in hand, Her Majesty excitedly observed Generous secure an impressive five-length victory, revealing that the horse was her pick in the Royal Box sweepstake.

"That's my horse, isn't it? That's my horse! " exclaimed the Queen with palpable excitement. "Oh my god, Mother! We won! " Following the win, she inquired about her prize from the sweepstake: "What do I get" she asked an aide.

"Well, you get 16, Ma'am," they replied. "Sixteen pounds! Oh! " responded the Queen, beaming at the camera.

Inside Prince Harry's tense reunion with Royal Family during UK visit for Prince Philip's funeral

Prince Harry said he asked for a "secret meeting" with his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William, to discuss "the state of things" when he travelled to the UK to attend Prince Philip's funeral in April 2021.

Prince Harry revealed in his memoir, 'Spare', that he requested a "clandestine meeting" with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William, to discuss "the state of affairs" during his trip to the UK for Prince Philip's funeral in April 2021.

The Duke of Sussex penned that upon returning to London for his grandfather's funeral, he saw it as an opportune moment to engage his father and brother in conversation.

In his book, released in January 2023, Harry confessed to feeling nervous while awaiting the arrival of William and Charles at their meeting - even fearing at one point that they had reconsidered and would not meet him.

However, he recalled a moment of seeing his brother and father with a "grim, almost menacing" expression as they advanced towards him. The Duke recounted offering them "a weak smile" to which they did not reciprocate.

Harry wrote: "Finally, I saw them. Marching side by side towards me, they wore grim expressions, bordering on threatening. Moreover, they appeared tautly coordinated as though they were in cahoots. A thought crossed my mind: Are we here for a walk...or a duel? ".

"I got up from the wooden bench, took a hesitant step in their direction and offered a humble smile. They didn't respond in kind. My heart pounded vigorously in my chest. Deep breaths, I urged myself.

"On top of fear, there was this heightened sense of awareness alongside an overwhelming vulnerability reminiscent of other pivotal moments in my life following behind my mother's coffin, experiencing my first encounter with battle, giving a speech amidst a panic attack."

The bizarre title Meghan Markle would take on if King removed Duchess of Sussex role

Meghan Markle would still be entitled to use a royal title even if the King decided to remove the Duchess of Sussex title.

Since Prince Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties, there have been sporadic demands to strip them of their royal titles.

Accusations of the royal household leaking stories about them, as well as their business deals with major corporations like Netflix and Spotify, have led some critics to accuse the couple of capitalising on their royal status.

However, even if the 'Duke and Duchess of Sussex' titles were officially removed Meghan would still hold a royal title, albeit an unusual one, as one royal expert highlights.
