Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can help "align" their public image closely to Princess Diana's by adopting behaviours normally associated with the former royal, according to a PR expert.
PR expert Tamara Colbert from MTG Media told Daily Express US about how the US-based royals can "restore their public image" after their popularity among the UK public dropped in recent polls.
She said: "If I were Harry and Megan's Publicity Agent, I would advise them to focus on rebuilding and nurturing relationships with both their personal connections and the wider public."
This, Colbert said, could help the Sussexes to align their image closely to Harry's late mum, Princess Diana.
She added: "Reconnecting with the public on a more humble and relatable level could help restore their lustre and align their public image more closely with the legacy of Princess Diana's compassion and humanity."

A January 2024 poll by Ipsos showed that both the couple have plunged in popularity.
According to the poll, almost half - 47 percent - of British adults asked had an unfavourable opinion towards Harry while only 23 percent are favourable, which is a seven percent drop.
Meanwhile, Princess Diana's ratings are overwhelmingly positive among all age groups, according to most polls.
Colbert suggested that the couple could focus on charitable efforts to help turn around the opinion among some members of the public.

She said: "Aligning with causes close to their hearts and demonstrating a commitment to making a difference, without the overt pursuit of publicity, can reflect their values and dedication to positive change."
The PR expert added: "I believe that with a strategic publicity effort focused on authenticity, charitable work, and reconnecting with the public, there's potential for the Sussex’s to turn the tide of public opinion.
"It's a delicate balance of honouring their personal truth while engaging with the public in meaningful ways."
