Buckingham Palace look petty after 'bloody stupid' Meghan Markle website row
The Royal Family's official website has had a makeover, with the Duchess of Sussex's page receiving the most attention.
Buckingham Palace have been accused of looking petty after "bloody stupid" row over the changes made to Meghan Markle's page on the official Royal Family website - more than three years on from the Sussexes's royal exit.
It has been noticed that, as recently as June, there was a change to the Duchess of Sussex's page on the website.
The page used to require readers to click through to read "any detail about her" - although this seems to have disappeared.
In comparison other royals, everyone from King Charles III to the late Queen's first cousin, Princess Alexandra, Meghan's page is remarkably brief.
According to royal commentator and writer Daniela Elser, Meghan's page appears to be "six sentences long and is so lacking in warmth".
Other member's pages seem to be "swamped in details about their charity work", but Meghan's doesn't appear to feature anything about "her brief official tenure".
Ms Elser wrote, in her latest article for news.com.au, this could be nothing more than a "stuff up" - particularly because the website includes "more than 5,000 pages".
Harry and Meghan also appear underneath royals such as Princess Alexandra and the Duke of Gloucester.
Princess Alexandra and the Duke of Gloucester are much further down the line of succession than Harry, who is fifth in line - after Prince William and his own three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The Royal Family website explains Prince Harry and couple "balance" their time between the US and the UK, and that they continue to "honour" the monarch.
Speaking of the couple's returns to the UK, Ms Elser said they have been back in the UK, together, for "approximately a month" total in the "last 35 months or thereabouts".

Ms Elser added: "Whether this situation was deliberate or just a stuff-up, the end result is that it still looks like the Palace is dismissing or downplaying her royal work.
"And that? That is just bloody stupid."
Meghan and Harry settled into life in Montecito, California, with Archie in 2020, followed by the birth of their second child, Lilibet in June 2021.
