Working with Harry and Meghan 'provides headaches and few benefits' blasts expert
After their departure from the Royal Family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed multi-million-pound deals with streaming giants, Spotify and Netflix.
Sussexes’ Spotify deal ends after one series of Meghan’s podcast
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been slammed as a royal expert claims working with the pair "provides no end of headaches". It comes after the Sussexes' lucrative Spotify deal was axed after just one podcast series from Meghan. The deal came to an end as both sides announced they had "mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together". Speaking after the announcement, royal commentator Dan Wootton said "we have learned just how ill-equipped" the royals were for a "real job".
Writing in his column for the Daily Mail, Mr Wooton blasted the couple saying: "Just like the Royal Family discovered, working with these two provides no end of headaches and very little in terms of benefits."
Reports have claimed Prince Harry had some "questionable" ideas for a podcast, including interviewing Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump and Mark Zuckerberg about their childhood.
Mr Wooten branded the idea "farcical", "impractical and impossible".
He continued: "At one point Harry and Meghan are said to have even pitched a vague TV project tackling misinformation. How deliciously ironic.
"The only misinformation that ended up emanating from this deal was the Sussexes claim they'd be creative masterminds deserving of being handed tens of millions of dollars by producing stellar and compelling entertainment shows and podcasts."

Harry and Meghan tipped to win Emmy for 'ground-breaking' Netflix series slamming royals
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been tipped for a nomination at the Emmy Awards for their "groundbreaking" documentary series on Netflix.
As a result of the short-lived deal, Meghan only released one series of her podcast, Archetypes, which ran for 12 episodes last year.
During its run, Meghan spoke to high-profile stars including Serena Williams and Mariah Carey and went on to win the top podcast award at the People's Choice Award in Los Angeles.
Reports have now suggested pop star Taylor Swift snubbed Meghan after she wrote a personal letter asking her to appear on the show.
The 'love story' singer is believed to have received a handwritten note but according to the Wall Street Journal, she did not take up the offer.

Following their departure from Spotify the couple were hit with another blow as Bill Simmons, Head of Podcast Innovation and Monetization at the streaming giant, hit out at the couple over the fractured deal, branding them "f****** grifters".
He said: "That's the podcast we should have launched with them. I've got to get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with Harry to try and help him with a podcast idea. It's one of my best stories."
One silver lining for Harry and Meghan is their Netflix deal, which remains in tat after the company revealed that their "exciting journey" with the Sussexes "isn't ending anytime soon".
In a statement, they added: "We're currently collaborating on numerous projects, including the much-anticipated documentary series Heart of Invictus."
