Thomas Markle 'desperate to reconcile' with Meghan
Thomas Markle shared his blunt and brutal feelings on Prince Harry in a new interview.
The father of Meghan spoke to 7News for a sit down after years estranged from the Duchess of Sussex, where he was asked about the rift between him and his daughter.
Presenter Liam Bartlett said it is “a bit strange” that Harry had not reached out as “losing a mum when you’re so young” would suggest he wants to “make sure that family was connected”.
Thomas then bluntly shot back: “We would hope so, but Harry’s still a boy.”

In the Sussex royals’ Netflix documentary series, Harry shared how he blames himself for Meghan and Thomas’ rift.
“Of course, it's incredibly sad what happened,” the Duke said in the December series.
“She had a father before this and now she doesn't have a father.
“And I shouldered that, because if Meg wasn't with me then her dad would still be her dad.”

Kate to give up peacemaker role as Princess doesn't 'feel need' to speak to Harry
Kate, the Princess of Wales does not "feel the need" to try to restart communications with Prince Harry, according to a royal commentator. The Princess of Wales had previously emerged as a potential peacemaker between the Duke of Sussex and Prince William.
Royal author Tom Bower claimed last year that Harry and Meghan had a "tense" phone call with the Queen and the then-Prince Charles over their estrangement from Thomas.
He noted reports from the Mirror that Charles "berated" Harry over his wife's decision to not visit Thomas.
Bower then added in his book Revenge: Meghan and Harry and the War Between the Windsors, that Charles and "perhaps also the Queen" were irritated by the situation.
The Queen also allegedly joined Charles in a conference call with Meghan and Harry and at the outset, the future King and his mother urged the Duchess of Sussex to fly to the US for a reconciliation.
