Andrew Lloyd Webber recalls memory of Queen's 60th birthday
September 19 marks the historical day of the late Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral. Speaking on BBC, British composer Andrew Lloyd-Webber discussed his memories of the late monarch, in particular one from the late monarch's 60th birthday.
BBC resenter Huw Edwards asked Baron Lloyd-Webber to recall his first memory of the late Her Majesty The Queen.
Baron Lloyd-Webber said: "Well, I suppose my first meeting would have been, probably just at, sort of, varous opening."
Despite this, he remembered a time in which he got to know her "rather better" when Prince Edward asked him if he would "write a musical" to perform for his late mother's 60th birthday.
The musical, which he wrote with Tim Rice, was performed at Windsor.

He recalled the "wonderful" led Edward to work for him at his company.
Baron Lloyd-Webber continued: "Over the years, then, I've got to know her a little bit off-duty."
He recalled that she was always "The Queen" but it was "wonderful" to have "the occasional chat with her".
Laughing, he also said "the odd disagreement with her".
The composer also noted the late monarch "didn't share" his love for "Victorian architecture".
