Princess Beatrice and Eugenie 'completely different' says expert
After months of waiting and delays, Princess Beatrice and fiancee Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were finally able to announce their wedding date. The couple will tie the know on Friday, May 29 at the Chapel Royal in St James’ Palace.
In a statement announcing Bea and Edo marriage plans, Buckingham Palace said: “The wedding of HRH Princess Beatrice of York and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will take place on Friday, May 29, 2020.
“The couple became engaged in Italy in September 2019.
“Her Majesty The Queen has kindly given permission for the ceremony to take place at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace.”

“The location for many Royal weddings and christenings the Chapel Royal, situated within the grounds of St James’s Palace, is a busy working chapel.
“The Chapel holds regular services which are open to the general public, as well as hosting some unique Royal services.
“Many Royal weddings have taken place in the Chapel, including that of Queen Victoria to Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg on February 10, 1840.
A source has confirmed Bea will be walked down the aisle by her father, Prince Andrew.
Will Princess Eugenie be maid of honour?
Beatrice was her sister’s maid of honour at Eugenie’s wedding and it’s likely the gesture will be reciprocated in May.
That would come as little surprise given how close the sisters are to one another.
The pair were born less than two years apart and described themselves as each other’s “rock”.

At her sister’s wedding, Princess Beatrice delivered an emotional reading from the F Scott Fitzgerald novel The Great Gatsby.
The passage was not particularly romantic and did not centre around commitment or love.
Rather, narrator Nick Carraway describing Jay Gatsby’s smile, as he meets him for the first time.
Perhaps Eugenie will choose a passage of her own to read out at Princess Beatrice’s wedding.
Bookmaker Coral has opened the betting on who will be the bridesmaids and page boys at Princess Beatrice’s wedding.
Princess Charlotte is odds-on at 1/2 to be a bridesmaid followed by Mia Tindall, daughter of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall, at 10/11.
The bookie also revealed the Queen’s oldest great-grandchild Savannah Phillips can be backed at 6/4.
Kate Middleton is 5/1 to be a bridesmaid at the wedding, while Meghan Markle is as big as 8/1.
Prince George is as short as 1/3 to be a page boy, followed by his brother Prince Louis at 1/2 and Archie Harrison at 2/1.
Bea and Edo were engaged in September 2019 when the property tycoon proposed in Italy.
In a statement at the time, the couple said: “We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement.
“We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to be married.
“We share so many similar interests and values and we know this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”
