Kate and William to 'resume talks' with Meghan Markle and Harry now new system in place
KATE, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William are said to be "relieved" now a new system has been agreed with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, with the couples ready to "begin communications again" with each other.
Royal feud: Rumours could have been 'killed quickly' says expert
Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle were dogged by the persistent rumour of a rift since the former American actress joined the royal fold in May 2018. The Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex put the rumour mill to rest with a series of joint outings in which they appeared to be on friendly terms. Royal experts later speculated the real royal feud to be between Prince William and Prince Harry, a suggestion later partially confirmed by the Duke of Sussex himself.
But the recent decision of Meghan and Harry to step down from their working royals role is believed to have helped the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to reopen communications with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
PEOPLE magazine's senior royal editor Michelle Tauber said: "We have seen a lot of Kate and William, they’ve had a pretty busy schedule.
"We have a source telling us that when Harry and Meghan left, it wasn’t on good terms.
"However, another source told us that they are both relieved and they are starting to be able to begin communications again and things are warming up."

But Ms Tauber insisted the reason behind Meghan and Harry's departure does not lie entirely on the tension between the Duke of Sussex and his older brother.
She continued: "It’s no single factor that led to this break from the family but rather a series of them.
"All families are complicated, the Royal Family is no exception and they have their own added complications.
"We know both Harry and Meghan felt increasingly estranged from the family, they were feeling frustrated by the limitations."

Ms Tauber added: "One source said the ribbon cuttings was not what they were looking forward to be doing, they wanted to think globally.
"The financial restrictions were oppressive to them, they wanted to be free to earn their own money. All those factors were at play here."
In a post shared on their personal Instagram account, @SussexRoyal, Meghan and Harry unveiled their desire to create a new "progressive role" for themselves within the Royal Family.
Following talks with the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William however, Buckingham Palace announced the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will no longer represent Her Majesty on official engagements from April.
