The Prince of Wales paid visit to the store - spending an hour with employees. He expressed his shock at how bright and “fresh” the clothes shop was.
The royal didn’t spend much time looking at the discount clothes on offer - but did peruse the saucepans section, according to the Mirror.
Charles met with young employees who had graduated through the Prince’s Trust Get into Retail programme.
The programme sees young people spending four weeks undertaking the retail work, with the aim of getting a job at the end.
It is reported that the Prince was a good mood during his visit.
He shared jokes with staff, speaking about how they deal with those tricky customers.
He joked: “Being nice to customers is half the battle, isn’t it?”
After which he laughed that it “it takes years” to learn how to smile all the time, comparing his time as a royal as those in retail, both of which have to put on a smiley face at the best of times.

This is before he pulled a grimace when replied she had to be at work at: “6am.”
He asked another: “Are you on your feet all day long? It’s quite exhausting.”

“He was happy with the layout of the store.”
When the Miss Crawford was quizzed which part of the store she’d like to show the Prince to, she said:
“Ladies department.”
This would be so the Prince of Wales would be able to: “buy the Queen a nice hat, some gloves or some cashmere.”
Overall Charles said he was “very glad the system was working.”
