Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s favourite Christmas tree shop revealed
MEGHAN MARKLE and Prince Harry’s favourite Christmas tree shop, which offers “pre-decorated” firs at a cost of £1,500, has been revealed.
Meghan Markle and Harry overshadowing royals says expert
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were spotted shopping at a London branch of a high-end Christmas tree shop when they first started dating three years ago. It was reported the couple held hands as they carried the £65 Nordmann Fir back to the car after some incognito festive shopping. Now the British retailer Pines & Needles is offering to deliver, install and decorate a 6ft tree for shoppers - something that might appeal to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they have their hands full with royal engagements and five-month-old baby Archie.
The decorated tree will be hung with 100 individual ceramic ornaments from luxury brand Villeroy & Boch.
The hand-painted porcelain baubles feature festive characters and traditional festive scenes.
The service will set shoppers back £1,499 and will be available to order at the end of this week, Friday November 1.
Meghan and Harry first shopped at Pines & Needles in 2016, when they reportedly visited the pop-up store at Battersea Park.
Their server, Zaqia Crawford, told the Telegraph the pair purchased a 6ft non-drop Norman Fir for £65.
She said they left holding hands, as Harry held the tree under his arm.
The Duke was then believed to have taken the festive tree back to his home in Kensington Palace, the former home of the Sussex’s before they moved to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor this Spring.
It is not known whether the royal couple have purchased another tree from the firm since.

Other famous clientele of the tree company include Madonna, David Tennant, Noel Gallagher and Sir Elton John.
Their trees also fill Westminster Abbey and Wembley Stadium during the festive period.
Pines & Needles said of the launch of its latest service: “This beautiful 6ft limited edition Nordmann Fir Christmas tree features 100 Villeroy & Boch ceramic decorations specially selected from their Nostalgic Ornaments and My Christmas Trees collections.
“These include pure porcelain baubles, depicting cheerful festive characters and scenes hand-painted in classical Christmas colours designed to complement the renowned, vibrant, non-drop green needles of this beautiful tree.”

Meghan and Harry spent last Christmas at the main Sandringham estate with the Queen and other members of the Royal Family.
They attended the traditional Christmas Day church service at Sandringham, alongside Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and other senior royals.
It is not yet known where Meghan and Harry will spend Christmas this year, as they may choose to spend it at home to celebrate baby Archie’s first Christmas.
