Prince Harry's 'BANISHED' friend who advised against marrying Meghan Markle - shock claim
PRINCE HARRY “banished” one of his closest friends after he advised the Duke of Sussex against marrying Meghan Markle, it has been shockingly claimed.
Meghan Markle WARNED by royal expert over behaviour
Prince Harry has cast out from his inner circle his childhood friend Tom ‘Skippy’ Inskip as he opposed to the union between the royal and the former Suits actress, Tatler magazine wrote. The Duke of Sussex was believed to have taken a distance from his old friends, including Mr Inskip, not to be "tempted" and dragged back into his old party-loving behaviour. But in its May’s issue, the magazine is now claiming the rift may be the result of a warning regarding Meghan issued by Harry’s childhood friend.
The article read: “Hang out with the Clooney/Beckham/Soho House set and be assailed for being too Hollywood, for forcing your hen-pecked husband to abandon his old, country-set muckers – including Tom ‘Skippy’ Inskip, the ultra-loyal, tight-lipped Harry pal, who, it’s said advised Harry not to marry Meghan and has paid the price: banishment.”
Tatler also reported on speculation that Prince William “advised his brother against rushing into marriage”.
Prince Harry and Mr Inskip became friends at Eton and have until now understood to have remained close, even going through together some of the harshest scandals hitting the royal.

Mr Inskip, a banker, headed to Croatia with Prince Harry in 2011 where they allegedly got drunk with vodka, whisky, tequila and beer and were photographed jumping into a nightclub’s pool fully clothed.
One year later, they were in Las Vegas, a trip which produced the infamous naked picture of the Prince playing strip billiard.
But Mr Inskip and Harry also shared more memorable moments, with the pair of friends attending each other’s wedding.
But following Prince Harry and Meghan’s Royal Wedding on May 19 last year, Mr Inskip is believed to have been “frozen out” of the royal’s inner circle, together with PR expert Astrid Harbord.
The Daily Express had previously spoken to a source claiming the reason behind this behaviour was Meghan’s desire to see the prince leading a calmer and healthier lifestyle.
The source said: “Like several others who were considered a questionable influence on Harry during his bad old bachelor days, Tom has been dropped, even though he himself now has a lovely wife, Lara.
“It's all part of Meghan's quiet airbrushing out of Harry's old posse.
"She doesn't want temptation - of any sort - being put in his way while they concentrate on starting a family.”
This latest claim regarding Meghan and Harry comes as the couple are preparing to move into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor and welcome their firstborn, due within weeks.
