Oasis reunion tour support act unveiled as pre-sale tickets snapped up

The warm up act for the Oasis reunion tour in Manchester has been revealed to be the band Blossoms, according to The Sun. 

The Gallagher brothers had been notoriously embroiled in a decade-spanning feud, but their eagerly awaited reunion tour means that the pair will put their differences aside for the first time since 2009.

As fans begin to purchase pre-sale tickets, it has been reported that Blossoms have been signed on as the support act for the four Manchester dates in Heaton Park.

According to the publication, a source said: "Noel and Liam and Blossoms have been friends for years and with the band also coming from Manchester asking them to support Oasis was a no brainer.

"It will be announced in due course but Blossoms have agreed to support Oasis at their Heaton Park shows - naturally they jumped at the chance.

"It's a full circle moment for them as members Tom Ogden and Joe Donovan's first ever gig was at Oasis at Heaton Park."

Naturally the interest in tickets has been extremely high, with a 24-hour pre-sale ballot launching this week. However, fans were left rather surprised when they had to answer a ‘fan question’ to access the ballot.

The question, 'Who was the drummer in the original Oasis line-up?’, immediately went viral on social media and a number of Oasis followers expressed their dissatisfaction at having to answer the fan question.

Some fans hope that the pre-sale website will be able to identify those who momentarily left the ballot page to Google the answer on the internet.
