Oasis tour ballot LIVE: Fans confused over pre-sale ticket change after sudden email

Oasis fans are desperate to find out if they've been successful in the 2025 reunion tour ballot.

Oasis fans around the UK and Ireland are preparing themselves to rush and buy the limited amount of tickets for the band's string of gigs in 2025.

Liam and Noel Gallagher sent their fans into a frenzy as they announced 14 dates around the country, as well as two in Croke Park, Dublin, before adding another three dates due to the unprecedented response.

The pre-sale ballot for the tickets was also initially meant to close at 7pm BST on Wednesday 28 August, but the brothers once again decided to give the fans a helping hand.

The ballot is now closing at 10am on Friday 30 August, with fans having to wait until 5pm to see if they have been lucky enough to receive the pre-sale information.

Wait and see

Fans are now counting down the clock until 5pm to see if they have been sent the information to get their hands on tickets.

Any disappointed fans who don't make the cut can still try their luck with general admission tickets at 8am for Dublin and 9am for UK tickets on Saturday August 31.

Unimpressed

Fans have been left confused over the ballot process as they took to social media to hit out at Oasis' decision.

One fan said: "Can these Gallagher brothers wake tf up and explain to us how presale works, thanks."

Another added: "What time does the presale ballot open tomorrow? Can’t find the answer anywhere."

The ballot has closed

The ballot for pre-sale tickets is now closed, and information will be sent out to the successful fans at 5pm tonight.

Anyone disappointed on missing out can still apply for general admission at 9am on Saturday August 31.

Fans left baffled over timings

Fans have been left confused over the pre-sale release time.

One fan took to X to ask for clarity as they were confused by an email they had received. It read: "You are confirmed! Ballot winners will be contacted no later than 5pm BST, this Friday 30th August." The fan asked: "They changed it to 5pm today? Mate just got his confirmation this morning."

Already on sale

Tickets have reportedly already started appearing on sale on a reselling website before being made available to the public.

Reselling website Ticombo, based in Berlin, Germany, claimed to have 189 tickets available for Heaton Park, Manchester on July 12.

Despite the show occurring in a field - the site claimed to have options for the 'upper tier' and seating - with tickets were being sold for between £450 and £1,659.

The website said it "requested proof from the sellers regarding their source, and are temporarily disabling sales for this event until the official sales begin or proof is provided by a seller".

Bands tipped to join Oasis on tour

Bookmaker Betfred’s favourite is Blossoms priced at 1/2 (66.7% probability), but other favourites include The Slow Readers and The Black Keys priced at 1/1/, and Liam’s son, Gene Gallgher’s band Villanelle at 5/4.

Betfred’s Kayley Cornelius said: Liam Gallagher's son, Gene Gallagher, could be following in his father's footsteps, with his band Villanelle priced at 5/4 to support on at least one of the tour dates.

Don't make this mistake

Oasis' official website has "strongly advised" any fans who are hoping to purchase tickets that they will need to register in advance of the sale with the relevant ticket agencies.

Fans should also take note that they're only allowed to buy four tickets at a time.

Ticket prices

The band have confirmed that a seat to watch them perform in Wembley, London, will start at £74.25, and standing tickets will be £151.25.

Fans can also purchase a £506.25 pre-show party, exhibition and seated package.

Cardiff and Edinburgh are following a similar suit with tickets starting at £73 and £74 respectively.

Meanwhile in Heaton Park, Manchester, tickets start at a hefty £148.50, which has sparked some backlash.

Dublin residents can see the band in Croke Park with tickets starting from £72.

Stern warning

BBC presenter Ben Boulos issued Oasis fans with a stern warning on the news programme.

He told fans: "The general sale starts tomorrow morning at 9am (August 31) and an hour earlier in Ireland.

"So set a reminder now! But there will be a pre-sale process with access via a ballot.”

He added: "Now applications to enter that closed on Wednesday night, although huge demand meant a delay in some fans getting confirmation of their entry via an email with a link to click on to verify that they want to join the ballot.

"Those emails are still being sent out this morning, and you will need to click the link to confirm your entry by 10am today."
