'I managed to bag Taylor Swift tickets – here's my key hack to getting Oasis seats'

One Oasis fan previously managed to nab Taylor Swift tickets at less than a sixteenth of the price her friends were finding tickets for - and she's now sharing her expertise.

Oasis fans are desperate to secure tickets to the 1990s Britpop legends' reunion shows - but chances of a successful purchase are miniscule.

The odds were ranked at less than three percent after their 14-date UK and Ireland tour was first announced, while an extra three tour dates have increased odds to a still measly 5.6 percent. It's clear that only the savviest fans stand a chance of beating the odds if they don't implement some thoughtful tactics.

However, Express.co.uk has you covered, with tips from Jess Peace, a woman who previously secured places at Taylor Swift's hugely sought after UK Eras tour after just one try. With the presale now over, the next - and final official - chance is this Saturday morning at 9am.

Don't Look Back in Anger after a failed attempt, but try the following tips and tricks instead....

Fans should start off armed with multiple devices, enlisting the help of everyone in their household. Jess suggests: "Get every device you can together, phone, laptop, tablet and make sure all of them are logged into the ticketing sites before the tickets drop. Set them out on a table in front of you so you can keep an eye between them when you try to catch tickets."

She explains: "This is crucial because different devices can connect to the ticketing servers at different speeds and if one lags or crashes you have another as backup." Jess also advises setting up accounts and passwords for every major UK ticketing website and keeping them logged in well in advance, for when the big moment arrives.

Every keystroke counts in the race against time, so don't be one of the slow ones manually typing in your credit card number - this could get you shut out of the queue.

Instead, have your preferred payment method saved, whether it's a credit or debit card or Paypal - and check that the details haven't expired.

Meanwhile, just because you're sorted doesn't automatically mean the ticket sales site will be, with Ticketmaster being notorious for crashing at times of high demand.

Jess recommends: "I’d use one of the alternative sites like Gigs and Tours that less people are likely to use for a better chance of snagging tickets."

Meanwhile, consider taking your place in the virtual queue up to 10 to 15 minutes before the official start time of the sale, as it can massively improve your chances.

It goes without saying that a strong internet connection is also crucial, with the most prepared fans sitting close to the router and closing down unnecessary extra browser tabs which can clog up your laptop's speed.

Also be ready to collaborate with family and friends, with everyone willing to buy each other's tickets as well as their own, so that the lucky one can share tickets with the others.

Finally, Jess reveals "one of the worst things you can do" - refreshing the page.

She warns anxious fans: "If you refresh, you will likely lose your place in the queue and you’ll get pushed to the back. Just wait patiently for the system to do its thing."

Easier said than done - but Jess, who was speaking on behalf of NetVoucherCodes, is certain her tips work, commenting: "I’m everyone's go-to person for getting tickets to anything live and only paying face value!"
