Oasis fans have been left heartbroken after missing out on pre-sale tickets for the band's newly-announced reunion tour, with some tickets now being hawked by buyers.

The iconic band confirmed on Tuesday that they will be touring the UK and Ireland next summer.

Brothers Noel Gallagher, 57, and Liam Gallagher, 51, who last shared a stage in 2009, have since announced additional dates for the first leg of the tour.

Tickets for the tour start at around £70 for some seats, while standing tickets at all venues range between £148.50 and £151.25. There are also packages available, with the most expensive priced at just over £400.

Ahead of the general sale on Saturday, tickets for the concerts went on pre-sale on Friday following a ballot entry process for fans.

Following the pre-sale, there are reports of people offering to sell their tickets for hundreds of pounds, which has been met with criticism on social media.

At the time of writing, one resale website has three listings for tickets, with prices starting at £667 each. The remaining four tickets, which are seated, are currently listed for £809 each, reports the Mirror.

Fans erupted in fury as scalpers swooped in on Oasis's presale event, jacking up ticket prices to profit on die-hard fans eager to catch the band's long-awaited performance. One incensed supporter blasted the practice on social media saying: "This is absolutely ridiculous. Profiteering at its finest and it's still only on presale. I'd love to go but refuse to be ripped off."

Commentators across the board expressed disgust and frustration, with one particularly scathing tweet reading: "Anyone buying @oasis tickets and putting them on resale sites... I hope your pillow is warm when you turn it over in the middle of summer."

The outrage continued as another chimed in: "It's been seven mins since presale started and people already reselling at double the price."

The highly anticipated Oasis Live '25 world tour will begin at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 4 and 5 next year, before heading to Manchester Heaton Park with performances scheduled for July 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20. The iconic band will then take the stage at London Wembley Stadium on July 25, 26 and 30, and again on August 2 and 3.

Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium is also on the itinerary, with gigs planned for August 8, 9 and 12. The tour will culminate with shows at Dublin Croke Park on August 16 and 17.

Eager fans should mark their calendars as tickets go on general sale from 9am in the UK and 8am in Ireland on Saturday.

A cautionary note on Oasis' official website advises: "Ticket sales are limited to four per household, per show. Only tickets purchased through approved agents are valid. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission."

As indicated on their website, fans looking to score tickets for the hugely anticipated Oasis gigs are advised to head directly to official vendors such as Ticketmaster, Gigs and Tours, and SEE Tickets. The rock legends have made a point of guiding fans away from secondary ticketing sites with the exception of Twickets and Ticketmaster Fan-to-Fan.

Answering a fan query on their site, the guidance clarifies: "Fans who have purchased tickets and can no longer attend the shows are able to resell their tickets via Twickets or Ticketmaster Fan-to-Fan. We urge fans to only use these official resale platforms. Any tickets listed on unauthorised resale sites may not be genuine and, in line with the terms and conditions, promoters will cancel any tickets found listed."

Moreover, the terms and conditions pinpoint that: "Ticket resale is permitted at no more than the price you paid (face value + booking fees). Please only use the official resale partners www.twickets.live and Ticketmaster. Selling tickets through unauthorised resale platforms will breach these TandCs and those tickets may be cancelled."
