Club respond as Leeds United fan Russell Crowe suggests next transfer
LEEDS UNITED have responded to Russell Crowe's request for them to sign Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski, by claiming they are fully stocked up front.
But that track record clearly isn't enough to entice Leeds, who responded to the transfer tip by insisting Chris Wood can handle the Whites' scoring responsibilities.
"Thanks for the great scouting work @russellcrowe! Don't worry @bundesliga_de, no need to fight Maximus, we have @officialcwood!!!" the club said.
New Zealand striker Wood has scored 11 goals in all competitions for Leeds this season, helping the club to sixth in the Championship.

Cellino has been in charge of the club since April 2014 and this summer appointed Garry Monk as manager.
After a rocky start to the campaign, Monk's side have strung together a run of five games unbeaten to move into the Championship playoff spots and reach the EFL Cup quarter-finals.
