Erik ten Hag assesses impressive Alejandro Garnacho
Manchester United want to sign a new left winger this summer, according to reports. And with Erik ten Hag prepared to strengthen that area of his squad, the 53-year-old risks upsetting Alejandro Garnacho. Both the teenager and Marcus Rashford can play there but Ten Hag, it seems, feels more is required as he looks to guide his side to Premier League title glory next season.
Garnacho experienced a slow start to the season having angered Ten Hag by turning up late to a couple of team meetings during the club’s pre-season tour of Australia and Thailand.
But the 18-year-old then responded by winning his manager round and establishing himself as a key player in the process.
According to The Telegraph, United want to sign a new left winger this summer.
And that’s a move that could risk upsetting Garnacho given that’s the Argentine’s preferred position.
Both Garnacho and Rashford are usually deployed there.
