Erik ten Hag assesses impressive Alejandro Garnacho
Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho left coaches ‘pleasantly surprised’ by his work ethic during his time injured, according to reports. The Argentine was sidelined after damaging his ankle in a draw with Southampton back in March. And with the 18-year-old now fully fit and firing, he’ll be hoping to start his side’s FA Cup final showdown with Manchester City on Saturday.

It’s said the United star ‘worked as hard as possible to return’, putting in the work to ensure he’d be back on the pitch less than two months later.
Garnacho apparently went into Carrington on his days off, channeling Cristiano Ronaldo - his old team-mate whose workaholic attitude is well known - while also completing ‘monotonous hill walks at the back of the training ground’.
The winger also worked hard in the gym, something that ‘pleasantly surprised coaches’.
And while Argentina wanted him to play at the Under-20 World Cup, Garnacho apparently took United’s decision not to let him go extremely well.
He supposedly ‘understood’ why it was better for him to remain with his club, instead of playing for his country.
Man Utd make two decisions ahead of Man City FA Cup final as Erik ten Hag eyes glory
Manchester United have decided to stay at the same hotel and use the same facilities as earlier in the season prior to Saturday’s FA Cup final clash with Manchester City, according to reports. Erik ten Hag’s side have already won twice at Wembley this term. And he’ll be hoping to make it a hat-trick, with the Red Devils looking to prevent Pep Guardiola’s side from claiming a historic treble.

Another insider has claimed the two are besotted with each other and ready for the next step in their relationship.
“Alejandro and Eva are childhood sweethearts, they are totally in love,” the source apparently said.
“All of their family and friends are very happy and proud that they are expecting a baby.
“They have been living together for a while in a quiet part of Cheshire, enjoying a calm lifestyle and supporting each other since they arrived in England.
“It’s exciting news that has come early in their lives, but they’ve got great support from both of their families and feel ready for this next step.”

Garnacho will now be hoping to shine when United lock horns with Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
It’s arguably the biggest derby in history, with Pep Guardiola’s side hoping to emulate the Red Devils by winning the treble.
United are well-stocked with wingers, especially with Antony being set to return from injury.
But Garnacho could be the club’s trump card as they look to win the trophy.
United last won the FA Cup back in 2016, beating Crystal Palace in a 2-1 victory at Wembley courtesy of goals from Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard.
