Sheikh Jassim won’t make a fourth bid for Manchester United despite his determination to buy the club, according to reports. The Qatari billionaire is battling Sir Jim Ratcliffe at a time when the Glazers are open to selling up. However, should the Americans remain in charge, then more debt will supposedly be piled onto the club.
On Friday night, both Sheikh Jassim and Ratcliffe submitted their third bids for United.
The Qatari billionaire is looking to acquire 100 per cent of the club, while he’s also willing to invest in the team, facilities and local community as well.
And The Athletic say that Sheikh Jassim won’t be making a fourth bid for United and his latest offer will be his last.
He’s apparently lodged a bid of around £5billion to buy United, which is still short of the Glazers’ £6bn asking price.
And the prospect of the Americans staying in charge is something that can’t be ruled out.

Even when United were the dominant force in English football, fans often waved green and gold scarves in protest.
And the Glazers staying would risk a backlash unlike anything previously seen before.
United fans were successful in storming Old Trafford and postponing a Premier League clash against Liverpool in 2021, shortly after the Glazers’ failed European Super League plot.
Another protest is planned for Sunday, with United due to lock horns with Aston Villa.
Fans will make their feelings known in the 18th minute of the game in reference to 18 years of Glazers rule.

Man Utd takeover: Sheikh Jassim is adamant his third bid is his last (Image: GETTY)
Earlier this month, the Manchester United’s Supporters Trust released a statement calling for the end of a takeover impasse.
"When it was announced in November that the Glazers were undertaking a ‘strategic review’ and inviting offers to buy the Club, MUST welcomed the news and went on to urge the majority owners to move ahead with the process with speed, so that any period of uncertainty was as short as possible," they said.
"Nearly five months on, we read speculation that offers from prospective buyers remain below the Glazers valuation, and that a third round of offers will now be invited.
"With Erik Ten Hag having made such great progress in his first season, and with the vital summer transfer window a matter of weeks away, the news of these delays and further prolonged uncertainty are of great concern.
“Erik needs to know what resources he has to spend so he can make the signings the club needs, and the whole management resources of the club need to be focussed on supporting him in that.

“That cannot be the case with the future ownership so unclear.
"We are also unable to move forward on major investment projects - not least the stadium redevelopment as we remain in limbo.
"We are in dire need of new investment, which undoubtedly requires new ownership.
“MUST, along with United fans all around the world, are calling for this process to be concluded without further delay."
