Kane can absolutely win a trophy at Spurs, says Levy
Harry Kane finds himself taking centre stage ahead of Tottenham’s Premier League clash with Manchester United. The England international is a top target for Erik ten Hag as the summer transfer window creeps closer. Now, Express Sport takes a look at the 29-year-old and his situation.
The standout shirt number for Kane to take at United is the No 7.
It is the jersey that means the most at Old Trafford, having previously been worn by icons such as Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Eric Cantona and George Best over the years.
United could even hand Kane the No 9 shirt should Anthony Martial leave, with the France international struggling for consistency and fitness this season.
The No 11 can’t be entirely ruled out, too, amid uncertainty over Mason Greenwood’s situation.
But it’s hard to see Kane donning the same No 10 he does at Tottenham, with that number currently occupied by the outstanding Marcus Rashford.

Potential fee
Any deal for Kane won’t be cheap for United to broker, however.
Tottenham will demand £80million from clubs overseas, with Bayern Munich showing interest amid a turbulent campaign at the Allianz Arena this season.
But when it comes to selling their talisman to a direct rival, Spurs are primed to go even higher.
They may demand as much as £100m to let Kane move to United.
And should the Red Devils go that high, it would make the 29-year-old the most-expensive signing in the club’s entire history.

Other United targets
Kane isn’t the only player on United’s radar as they look to sign a new striker this summer.
Victor Osimhen is the club’s Plan B, with the Nigeria international dazzling for Napoli so far this season.
United also want to land a new midfielder, too.
Frenkie de Jong, Jude Bellingham and Ryan Gravenberch have been linked amid uncertainty over their futures at the likes of Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich respectively.
And a new right-back wouldn’t go amiss, too, despite Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka doing well enough this season.
