Ralf Rangnick explains tactical change at half time after Brighton win
Manchester United have received a boost in their interest in AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, who seems destined to leave the San Siro on a free transfer this summer. Italian reports claim Kessie is a potential candidate to replace Paul Pogba at United should the Frenchman also leave on a Bosman.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Spazio Milan, claim United are monitoring the 25-year-old ahead of their search for Pogba's midfield replacement.
The Frenchman's current contract expires in June, and negotiations over an extension haven't progressed.
Likewise, Kessie is set to leave Milan on the same date, with his outgoing status prompting his relationship with fans turning sour.
Rossoneri supporters jeered the Ivory Coast international during last weekend's match against Sampdoria, and new reports claim Milan have settled on his successor.

United are expected to prioritise signing a defensive midfielder at the end of the season, given a current lack of depth and further uncertainty over Nemanja Matic's future.
But Pogba's likely exit, added to Donny van de Beek's up-in-the-air status, should see the Red Devils also target a creative midfielder.
Ralf Rangnick will be involved in the recruitment process with the club's next permanent manager, whoever that may be.
But Youri Tielemans has been touted as a potential £40million target after rejecting a contract extension at Leicester City.
