Arsenal: Arteta details plan to return to top four
Spotify CEO Daniel Ek is reportedly planning to make a second Arsenal takeover bid after his first offer was rejected. Ek publicly revealed his interest in buying the club back in April, following the Gunners' involvement in the failed European Super League.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "As a kid growing up, I’ve cheered for @Arsenal as long as I can remember.
"If KSE would like to sell Arsenal I'd be happy to throw my hat in the ring."
Ek enlisted the help of Arsenal legends Thierry Henry, Denis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira to help him with his takeover bid, but his initial offer was knocked back.
"This week, an offer was made to both [Arsenal director] Josh Kroenke and their bankers that included fan ownership, representation at the board and a golden share for the supporters", Ek said last month.

It is said that the club are expecting a second offer and that Ek's consortium is 'not going anywhere and want to get a deal done'.
The report states that the increased offer 'may well test the Kroenkes' resolve'.
However, the Kroenkes have publicly insisted that they "will not entertain any offer".
In a statement released back in April, they said: "In recent days we have noted media speculation regarding a potential takeover bid for Arsenal Football Club.

"We remain 100% committed to Arsenal and are not selling any stake in the Club. We have not received any offer and we will not entertain any offer.
“Our ambition for Arsenal remains to compete to win the biggest trophies in the game and our focus remains on improving our competitiveness on the pitch to achieve this."
Speaking to Sky Sports, Henry said of Ek's attempts to buy the club: "Daniel is an Arsenal fan. He did not say it for any publicity, he has been an Arsenal fan for a very long time.
"He approached us, we listened to him. And we knew, first and foremost, that he wanted to involve the fans."
