Atletico boss Diego Simeone is reluctant to let Trippier leave the Wanda Metropolitano.
However, the former Tottenham star is thought to want to move back to the Premier League after two years in Spain.
CBS says Trippier's departure would make Bellerin a 'serious' option for Atleti.
Trippier helped Atletico win La Liga last season and spoke of his delight at that success shortly after joining up with the England squad for this summer's Euro 2020 tournament.
"It is an unbelievable feeling and I am still pinching myself,” he said.
“That is one of the reasons why I went there, to try and win titles and most importantly to get my performances back on track from when I was at Tottenham.
“I feel like I made a big step when I first went there and have improved defensively and in attack. I am loving it. I am enjoying it and delighted to be back with England.
“For me personally, it has been a great experience, a different culture, working with Simeone.
"I am absolutely delighted to have won the league title. There is no better coach to improve than Simeone."
