Liverpool: Diogo Jota reacts to 2-0 win over FC Midtjylland
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is expected to make a number of changes to his squad with Diogo Jota potentially keeping his place in the starting line-up and he could be the man to create history against Midtjylland. Liverpool kicked off their Champions League campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ajax last week.
That was followed up by their first league win in three matches against Sheffield United at the weekend.
Klopp's side had to come back from being a goal down after United were controversially awarded a penalty, which Sander Berge duly dispatched past Adrian.
Roberto Firmino equalised before half-time with Jota going on to score the winner midway through the second half.
In doing so, the Portugal international put Liverpool to within one of the club's 10,000th goal in all competitions.

That record could well fall tonight when Liverpool take on Midtjylland at Anfield.
Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah would both fancy their chances usually, but Klopp may opt to rest the attacking duo after they played the full 90 minutes against the Blades.
Jota came off 10 minutes before the end of the game and could well be in line to start again.
The summer signing has already impressed since joining from Wolves, bagging two goals in the Premier League.
He's also earned high praise for his tenacious effort to track back as well as providing Liverpool a different outlet going forward.
Divock Origi could also be in line to make his first appearance since the Carabao Cup defeat to Arsenal.
The Belgium international has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Jota.
Takumi Minamino is Klopp's preferred back-up option to Roberto Firmino through the middle.
