Harry Wilson: I'd love to be a full time player for Liverpool
Liverpool are not ruling out keeping Harry Wilson, as Xherdan Shaqiri edges closer to the exit door. Jurgen Klopp has completed his summer business in regards to incomings but the Reds boss could still see several fringe players leave the club.
Wilson was in from the cold last night to play the full match as the Premier League champions crashed out of the Carabao Cup at Anfield against Arsenal.
After a dour stalemate, Wilson was one of two Liverpool players to miss in the penalty shootout as Arsenal booked their place in the quarter-finals.
It was his first-ever competitive start for the club and many were surprised to see his name on the team-sheet ahead of the game.
One name that was missing was Shaqiri, who scored a stunning free-kick in the 7-2 win at Lincoln last week.

His omission was due to interest from two clubs over a potential deal and according to The Athletic, the Swiss international's future could have a say on whether Wilson stays put.
Liverpool have always been keen to offload Wilson this summer, in a bid to raise some cash.
Burnley are the only club to have tabled an offer which was made up of £12million upfront with a further £4m in add-ons.
Despite the Clarets' interest, Klopp decided that Wilson was ready to play against Arsenal and get some minutes under his belt.

The Athletic report claims that Liverpool are waiting for Burnley to increase their offer, but Klopp is potentially willing to keep Wilson in place of Shaqiri if the former Stoke man leaves the club.
It's a glimmer of hope for Wilson, who remains keen to make the grade at Anfield having come through the youth ranks at Melwood.
Earlier this year, Wilson sat out of Bournemouth's 2-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield and ahead of the game he confirmed he could leave this summer to get regular football.
Speaking in March before Liverpool's 2-1 win over Bournemouth, Wilson hinted he could leave the club this summer in search of regular football.
