Arsenal: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reacts to FA Cup final win
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could have promised Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang that the Gunners will sign numerous players this summer in hope of keeping the top scorer at the club, Premier League icon Ashley Cole claims.
The Gabon international is weighing up whether to sign a new contract at the Emirates.
Arsenal are desperate to keep hold of the 31-year-old, who is out of contract next summer.
The Gunners could be forced to sell the striker, who is being eyed by Barcelona and Real Madrid, if Aubameyang refuses to commit his future to the club.
Aubameyang netted twice in the FA Cup final as Arsenal edged past Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday night.

The brace took former Borussia Dortmund hitman's tally to 29 for the season.
And while Arsenal wait on Aubameyang's decision, Cole reckons Arteta might have promised the striker he'll make numerous signings now the transfer window is open.
When discussing Aubameyang's future, Cole said: "Do you think that's a sign then that Arsenal are going to sign more players?
"If he's going to sign then he must have spoken to Mikel Arteta and said 'you've got to bring players in, we can't win the league with this group of players now'.

Premier League hero Alan Shearer hailed Aubameyang on Saturday, insisting it'll be too costly to replace the striker.
"You can't not be anything other than a huge fan of his," he said.
"68 in 108 games is an incredible record and if, which obviously he does, Mikel Arteta wants to get Arsenal back to where they want to be then I think he is definitely key to that.
"If he goes it costs an absolute fortune to get someone in - not only their salary but the transfer fee as well."
