Willian: Pundit discusses potential transfer to Arsenal
Chelsea winger Willian joining Tottenham would not be a surprise, according to former Blues striker Chris Sutton. Willian is out of contract at Chelsea this summer and has rejected all offers of a new deal. The experienced Brazilian wants a three-year deal but Chelsea are not willing to offer that to a player who will be 32 next month.
Willian has been linked with Tottenham as well as north London rivals Arsenal.
Sutton cannot see any way the winger will now stay at Chelsea and reckons Tottenham is a likely destination.
"It looks like that ship [Willian staying at Chelsea] has sailed," Sutton told Stadium Astro.
"I think he's a really valuable player but the fact [Hakim] Ziyech is coming in and [Timo] Werner and they have players who can play in those wide areas, I think Frank [Lampard] is looking for something a little bit different.

"He signed obviously a tiny contract for these last few games because of what's happened with the pandemic," Kitson said.
"If he hasn't signed anything now he's not going to at Chelsea.
"I believe that they offered him a contract at the beginning of this season to tie him down, it hasn't materialised, and normally the case is when that happens he's already made up his mind.
"He would be nine out of 10 every week [at Tottenham], I'm telling you. It's unbelievable.

"In Mourinho's second period [at Chelsea], when the players pretty much downed tools, he was the only one that didn't.
"He was an eight out of 10 every week and it was no surprise Mourinho tried to sign him at Manchester United.
"I think Chris might be onto something, Mourinho will probably be sniffing around there.
"But I think it's late in the day, I think whatever deal he's done is probably done."
