“For a club to have a professional like that, concentrate on the FA Cup even though he is not playing that is brilliant for the younger lads.
“He looks after his body and he still has the hunger to win. He has got a lot to offer.
“I would love him back at the club at some point.
“I am not sure whether it would be next season but he would help us, absolutely.”

Milner could play a big part again tonight as Liverpool look to turn things around against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
The Reds trail 1-0 from the first leg and will need to be at the top of their game to ensure they reach the quarter-finals.
Milner played as a makeshift left-back against Bournemouth on Saturday, clearing the ball off the line in the second half to spare Liverpool blushes.
After the game Klopp claimed he finds it hard to understand people who still criticise Milner and Jordan Henderson.

“I have no clue how somebody can doubt these boys, to be honest," said Klopp.
"But if it happens, then thank God it isn’t my problem.
“People can say what they want, I hope they don’t do it too harshly, but I’ll never get that information and will never use it. I make my own decisions.”
