Man Utd: Nicol warns Sancho to ‘stay away’ from United
Manchester United, if reports are accurate, expect to sign Jadon Sancho this coming transfer window. And, if they manage to lure the England international to Old Trafford, he’d certainly represent quite a coup for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
The Telegraph say United are currently leading the charge to sign Sancho, who has also been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Barcelona amid his sensational form this season.
The 19-year-old has scored 14 Bundesliga goals and managed 14 assists from 22 league matches so far.
And the report says United are willing to pay Sancho personal terms of over £200,000-a-week in order to bring him to Old Trafford.
Should that happen, he’d become one of the highest-earners at Old Trafford.
David De Gea currently earns the most at the club, pocketing a nice £375,000-a-week from the club and £19.5million a year.
United spent the best part of 21 months attempting to tie the 28-year-old down to a bumper new deal and, back in September, the Spain international finally signed on the dotted line.
