Man Utd: Solskjaer explains why he swore at Lingard
Manchester United have been told to show more support to Jesse Lingard by Mino Raiola, reports claim. And Old Trafford staff are said to be unhappy, feeling the England international gets enough backing from the club.
Manchester United star Lingard has endured a difficult campaign and, with three months of the season left to run, is yet to score in the Premier League this season.
As a result of his struggles talk of a move away from Old Trafford has been rife, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer targeting more firepower.
Lingard has fallen behind both Bruno Fernandes and Juan Mata in the United pecking order and, recently, raised eyebrows by linking up with Raiola.
The super-agent is a divisive figure in world football.
And The Athletic say Raiola has told United that they need to show Lingard more support.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher recently hit out at the United star for his decision to link up with Raiola.
Raiola was once liked by Ed Woodward.
But his constant criticism of the club’s handling of Paul Pogba has seen that relationship change.
And Carragher said: “Raiola is not likeable, but he is successful. The flip side of that is he provokes negative headlines.
“Those who choose to work with him – Jesse Lingard the most recent to join his circle – evidently believe that is a price worth paying.
“I have to admit I struggle with that.

“I find it staggering a player would sign up with an agent so openly critical of his club’s manager.”
Solskjaer did recently admit that he can’t control Raiola - and that he’d rather not talk about the criticism aimed at himself.
“You can’t control it anyway, everyone’s got a voice and you can have your own opinion,” he said.
“There are things being said about us where you want to comment but you’d rather not and it’s more clever that you don’t comment on many different things.
“It’s not my rapport and Paul and Mino do have their conversations but it’s fine.”
