Man City: Redknapp claims Guardiola 'knows it's all over'
Liverpool will break Manchester City’s all-time Premier League record of 100 points in a season this term, claims former West Ham goalkeeper Shaka Hislop. City remain the only team in Premier League history to have hit a century of points when they did so under Pep Guardiola two seasons ago.
Liverpool are currently 13 points clear at the top of the table having won 17 of their 18 matches so far this term.
The only game Liverpool dropped points in was the 1-1 draw away at rivals Manchester United in October.
Jurgen Klopp’s side sit on 52 points with 60 still to play for and Hislop can see no reason why they will not establish themselves as one of the Premier League’s greatest ever sides.
“I think their points tally will eclipse that of Manchester City’s [from 2018],” Hislop told ESPN FC.

“When you look at that front three, how good they’ve been, with some consistency.
“When you look at the additions they’ve made in [Virgil] Van Dijk and Alisson over the last 12 months and how good that back four continues to work and then a midfield which I believe continues to get even better.
“You’ve got James Milner, Jordan Henderson I continue to believe one of the pivotal cogs in that team and then even players like Naby Keita.
“I thought Naby Keita was simply outstanding against Leicester - it shows the depth.”
