“He’s obviously going to play in a position whereby they’re going to play to his strengths, running forward, scoring goals.
“I think it does have an effect going back to your old club, knowing your surroundings.
“I think I certainly played at certain grounds where I thought ‘I can’t not score here’ and I certainly went to some grounds and I thought ‘I don’t like it here’.
“For some reason you get a natural, nice feeling about certain places where you’ve been successful before.

“So I think that played a little bit in Jurgen Klopp’s mind.
“But it’s really important for him tonight, it’s about time he really got his Liverpool career underway in a proper way.”
Keita scored as Liverpool beat Salzburg 2-0, with Mohamed Salah netting the other goal on a successful night for the Reds.
