Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Emery said: “Today is Lacazette’s first training back with us. He finished it well and he's feeling well with his injuries. Tomorrow we will be training again and he will be with us. We will decide.
“The most important thing is that first he is training, then secondly it's whether he can be with us and it depends how he can feel in the next days training with us, whether his ankle is not giving him any more problems.
“It's positive for us that he's started training and that he's a possibility for Monday. I don't know whether he's ready for 90 minutes or on the bench. We'll decide that over the next days, but it's very important for him to come back to training with us.”
Emery’s comments suggest Lacazette is an outside bet to start the clash, meaning Bukayo Saka should retain his spot on the left wing with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang deployed through the middle once more.
Nicolas Pepe is likely to start on the right flank while Dani Ceballos should occupy the No 10 role, although Mesut Ozil is fit and available.

Emile Smith Rowe has been passed fit for selection but Reiss Nelson is still sidelined with a knee ligament injury while Matteo Guendouzi and Granit Xhaka are expected to get the nod over Lucas Torreira.
Rob Holding could displace Sokratis Papastathopoulos alongside David Luiz in central defence but Calum Chambers should retain his right-back spot, despite the return of Hector Bellerin.
Meanwhile, Emery gave a positive update on Kieran Tierney after the Scot worked on his conditioning throughout the international break so the 22-year-old is favourite to start at left-back.
Emery said: "[Tierney is] ready to play. Now we have two options in that left-back role with Sead Kolasinac and him. We're going to play a lot of matches after Monday. We will need every player."
