RIVERDALE viewers were left stunned after they watched the opening scene of season three, episode two last night.

In last week’s episode, fans of the hit show thought the series had turned into a “horror movie” as it appeared another two characters had been murdered.
Moose Mason (played by Cody Kearsley) and his girlfriend Midge Klump (Emilija Baranac) were seen kissing in a car when a masked man approached the vehicle’s window and shot the couple.
Everyone assumed the two were dead following the attack but in a surprising twist, it was revealed that they had miraculously survived the incident.

Moose was in worse shape than Midge as he shielded her from the gunfire but viewers were just extremely happy the two characters were alive.
One fan wrote: “Moose and Midge are alive!!! Phew #Riverdale.”
“So thankful that Moose and Midge survived. We don't need any more deaths, @CW_Riverdale. #Riverdale,” said another happy viewer.
A third exclaimed: “MIDGE AND MOOSE ARE ALIVE I’M SO HAPPY #riverdale.”

Elsewhere, more was discovered about the mysterious killer who identifies himself as the ‘Black Hood’.
The murderer sent Alice Cooper (Mädchen Amick) a letter to be published in order to let everyone know he was responsible for all three attacks in the town.
He also explained his reasons after he called Fred Andrews "an adulterer", Ms Grundy a "child predator", and Moose and Midge "drunk and sex-addicted teenagers".
Riverdale will be available to watch on Netflix today.
