While discussing the General Election results, Eamonn Holmes slammed the Labour Leader Keir Starmer's personality.

Eamonn Holmes labels Keir Starmer 'deadly dull'

GB NewsEamonn Holmes shared harsh criticism of Labour leader Keir Starmer during a debate about the General Election results.

On Friday’s episode of the programme, the presenter clashed with Lord Maurice Glasman about the new Prime Minister.

He stated: “The thing that gets me though, is the man is deadly dull, you don’t look at him and say…”

Before he could continue, Maurice interrupted: “Eamonn, Clemmon Attlee was the most boring man you could have ever have met.

“He was the Labour MP after the war, considerably before you were born and he nationalised steel, nationalised railways, a total dullard.”

Maurice continued: “Harold Wilson wasn’t really a delight in that way, Labour prime ministers aren’t like Conservatives like Margaret Thatcher’s very presidential.

“Blaire was very presidential, Keir Starmer is going to be a Labour prime minister, we’re going to see a cabinet.

“We’re going to see arguments in the cabinet, arguments over direction in a much more traditional form of Labour politics.”

Eamonn responded: “People often say Britian is going the way of America, our elections are becoming more presidential but if that was the case i don’t think Starmer would’ve won.”

This isn’t the first time Eamonn has labelled Stamer “dull” as he also did so in 2022, when discussing if the leader should resign from the Labour Party after ‘beergate’.

The presenter told his co-host Isabel Webster: “You know the main thing that stands out about Keir Starmer now, he doesn’t look like a leader. He’s not charismatic.”

“Well, what does a leader look like?” Isabel asked. ‘I don’t know.”

Eamonn brutally responded: “He’s wooden. He’s a dullard,” to which his co-host argued: “But that doesn’t matter.”
