Strictly Come Dancing 2017: Fans BOO and turn on Shirley Ballas in major backlash
STRICTLY COME DANCING judge Shirley Ballas was a fan favourite for last week’s opening episode, but in a quick turn of events, the new head-judge was booed by the audience tonight.

Avid viewers accused the 57-year-old of changing her “sweet” persona from last week into becoming a “monster”.
Shirley received boos from the studio audience after she slammed Holby City star Chizzy Akudou's performance for being “lumpy” in a “cruel” way.
Chizzy performed a Foxtrot to I’m a Woman from Smokey Joe’s Cafe with professional partner Pasha Kovale, but Shirley said she was left feeling “disappointed” and wanted more “sophistication”.
Awarding Chizzy a measly four points, Shirley explained: “A little disappointing for me today Chizzy, you know how much I adore you.

“But the Foxtrot for me is like the Rolls Royce of all the boardroom dances. It has glide, swing, it’s smooth along the floor.
“I found it a little too lumpy for my taste. Although Chizzy I adore your personality, I want a bit more sophistication in this.”
Cheerful Chizzy cheekily replied: “I’m more of a Beetle girl to be honest, not a Rolls Royce, too expensive for me.”
Viewers instantly took to social media to complain at Shirley’s harsh critique, with one tweeting: “Ah I think that was a bit cruel from Shirley. I thought she was good! #Chizzy #SCD #Strictly.”
