Netflix: Teaser for season 2 of 'The Crown'
The exclusive trailer, lasting around a minute and a half, gives fans of the royal series a tantalising glimpse of what they can expect when the show returns to Netflix.
This season, the action will take place between 1956-64 and will focus on the the expanse of both Queen Elizabeth II (played by Claire Foy) and Prince Philip's (Matt Smith) reign and family.
A new, self-assured leader emerges, miles away from the nervous and timid monarch seen in the first season.
The Crown season 2: FIRST LOOK trailer teases troubled Queen Elizabeth marriage
Queen Elizabeth reveals she can't trust anyone
However, there's clearly some marital issues as Elizabeth suggests that she has no one to trust in a frank conversation with her husband.
Philip, who was suggested to be a bit cheeky last season, seems to have desired more freedom - along with being the owner of a wandering eye.
The teasing clip also hints that Princess Margaret (Vanessa Kirby) will have a more central role in the action.
Princess Margaret will meet Toby Armstrong-Jones in the upcoming series
Viewers remember how she went through an extremely tough time last season, having to give up her love Captain Peter Townsend at The Queen's request.
She is about to make her own way in the world, starting a relationship with high-society photographer, Antony Armstrong-Jones (Matthew Goode), which is almost certain to cause controversy with the famous family.
