Piers Morgan blasts "LAZY" parents in tirade on packed lunches
In fact, the 51-year-old was so angry that he ended up getting confused as he berated Britain’s parents for not packing healthy lunches for their children.
He was heard branding parents “lazy and feckless”, taking aim at one family that gave their child a cold McDonald’s Happy Meal for their packed lunch.
The former Britain’s Got Talent was heard ranting: “Parents know when they’re giving their kids a congealed, 12-year-old burger - 12 hours - whatever it is!”
Earlier on, he referred to the burger as “12-year-old” before he was eventually corrected by co-host Susanna Reid.
“I would never eat a 12-hour-old burger!” he said, before he continued: “That’s a health hazard, poisoning your child and everyone around it. I just think a lot of parents - I’m sorry - it’s just laziness.
“That’s just bone idle behaviour! Can we agree on that?”

Pushed for time? Oh, we’re too busy with our busy little lives
When ITV co-star Susanna Reid tried to defend the parents of the dismal lunch due to the time pressures, she was verbally slapped down by Piers, 51.
“That’s such a terrible excuse! Pushed for time? Oh, we’re too busy with our busy little lives. Get on with it, give your kid a sandwich. How much is a loaf of bread? A quid?”
His rants led Susanna, 46, to quip: “You know, I agreed with the other side of the argument until I heard you outraged!”

Nigel Farage and Alastair Campbell debate furiously on Good Morning Britain
Piers’ diatribe comes as the head teacher at Byron Primary School in Gillingham, Kent sent letters to parents highlighting “unacceptable” packed lunches that staff had found.
He wrote about the issue in the school’s newsletter and pointed to the cold Happy Meal as well as a packed lunch containing two bags of crisps and a crisp sandwich.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
