‘You can see his sadness’ Piers Morgan praised for hard-hitting anti-terror message on GMB
PIERS MORGAN and Susanna Reid became an unlikely source of comfort for viewers this morning as they reported Good Morning Britain live from the scenes of yesterday’s London terror attack in Westminster.
Piers Morgan brands London attacker 'horrible little coward'
The popular duo delivered today’s show outside Parliament Square where Piers Morgan assured viewers that London remains stronger than ever and would not be divided by these “sniffling little cowards”.
“We will get on with our lives,” stressed the 51-year-old. “London is resilient. Westminster’s still standing; Big Ben is still standing. These sniffling little cowards will not stop us living our lives.”
The host also urged viewers to focus on the heroes which came through yesterday, namely Conservative MP Tobias Ellwood, who was pictured giving first aid to stabbed police officer PC Palmer.

These sniffling little cowards will not stop us living our lives
“Let’s comment on the stunning examples of British courage at its finest,” he said.
“PC Palmer, who was stabbed, but also Tobias Ellwood, whose brother died in the Bali bombing, saw what was happening on this bridge and could have run for cover but instead he ran towards where this PC was stabbed and tried to stop him from dying. We should remember these people.”
He continued: “Yes, we need to concentrate on this coward, scum bag, who ran down people. We should focus on these heroes.”

Susanna Reid added: “And let’s remember the armed police who came within moments.”

Viewers praised the GMB duo in their droves on Twitter, with one posting: “#GMB you can see the sadness in @piersmorgan eyes. He had so much passion for this country no matter what you think of him.”
