Clean Break centres around a sassy office cleaner Sam, played by Sheridan (Cilla, Mrs Biggs), who works a zero-hour contract in the glossy corporate world of Canary Wharf.
Battling with an online gambling addiction and with her husband threatening to take custody of their two daughters, Sam enters into the dangerous world of insider trading to try and set her life back on track.
Smart and witty, Sam and her trusted band of fellow cleaners exploit their access to lucrative Stock Market information in the sleeping hours of London's finance industry and fights to overcome her addiction whilst balancing life as an insider trader with life as a mum.

Screenwriting newcomer Mark Marlow is joined by producers of several nation-wide favourites such as Broadchurch, Spooks, Humans and Misfits.
With Broadchurch airing its final season in early 2017, Clean Break could fill the gap for ITV drama fans and, if the history of its producers is anything to go by, it should turn out a smart and edgy addition to our TV schedules.

Clean Break will begin filming in London autumn 2017.
