Susanna Reid is ravishing in red on Good Morning Britain despite ‘extra weight’ complaints
SUSANNA REID returned to Good Morning Britain today in a gorgeous red dress but voiced unhappiness with weight she said she’d gained over the Christmas break.
Susanna Reid looked beautiful on Good Morning Britain today
The star looked resplendent as she joined co-star Piers Morgan on the ITV show’s sofa but said: “I am bursting out of my dress!
“I feel like the dent in the sofa this morning is getting deeper and deeper as I sink into it.”
“You are wearing a very skintight dress which probably doesn’t help,” Piers replied.
“It isn’t normally this skin-tight, it’s because I’ve eaten far too much over Christmas and New Year!"
Ate too much during Christmas?

Susanna also complained about her appearance on Twitter, posting a snap of her look with the caption: “Extra weight by Xmas over-indulgence Need #EatLessLoseMore”.
The hashtag refers to the show’s new segment, co-hosted by Coronation Street star Kym Marsh, in which viewers are told that eating more healthy foods is better than eating fewer unhealthy products.
Today, Piers was instructed to eat various dishes involving kale and was decidedly unimpressed.
“I’m about to puke on live television,” he warned.

Piers didn't agree with the kale
Trying kale prepared by nutritionist Tonia Buxton, he said: “To me, that is utterly horrible.”
“Can I just point out, Tanya has made these things,” Susanna reminded him.
He eventually approved of a cake containing the vegetable, and concluded: “The thing is with Kale it tastes disgusting until you mix it with other things!”
