Carol Kirkwood admits she'd rather go on a date with Bryan Adams than win Strictly
CAROL KIRKWOOD has a massive crush on crooner Bryan Adams, so big in fact, she'd rather have dinner with him than take home the Strictly Come Dancing glitter ball.
Carol Kirkwood would forgo a Strictly Come Dancing win for a date with Bryan Adams
The weather presenter didn't even hesitate when asked to make a choice between the Canadian singer and triumphing in the BBC One show.
The 53-year-old blushed when she was asked to make a choice by co-host Naga Munchetty on BBC Breakfast this morning.
Carol's confession comes after she got the chance to dance very briefly with Bryan, 55, during yesterday's results show, following his performance of Brand New Day live.
"I've got a question for you. Ready? What would you rather have… the Strictly trophy, Bryan Adams for dinner or a week of sunshine where it only rains at night so the gardens are good?" Naga asked the star prior to her forecast.

Without even a second's thought, Carol, who chose a form-fitting pink dress for the broadcast, replied simply: "Bryan Adams… Bryan where have you been for the last 20 years?"
Bryan could be seen twirling the Scottish contestant around backstage in a short clip posted on Strictly's official Twitter page.
It was captioned: "@CarolKirkwood has THE BEST DAY EVER when she gets to dance with her absolute hero Bryan Adams…"

Carol returned to her day job today after she and partner Pasha Kovalev failed to impress with their Viennese waltz to the tune of Seal's I've Been Loving You Too Long this weekend.
Racking up a paltry 21 points, judge Bruno Tonioli blasted her clumsy arms, saying: "It had all the romance of a cleaning session."
However, the smiley star had oozed glamour in a sunny sequinned gown prior to Ainsley Harriott's departure last night.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One on October 31 at 6.35pm.
