Emmerdale: Vic tells Moira she is planning to keep the farm

Emmerdale is poised for another turbulent week as Moira Dingle uncovers the truth behind the evidence that led to her imprisonment, potentially signalling the end of one couple's relationship.

In forthcoming episodes of the ITV soap, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and his wife Moira (Natalie J Robb) continue to maintain their distance as she assists at her former farm, causing Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) to experience remorse.

This arouses Moira's suspicion, prompting her to insist upon working at Butlers, and she challenges Robert's peculiar conduct, compelling him to make a full confession.

Robert acknowledges that he planted the IDs, which resulted in her wrongful incarceration for Celia Daniels' (Jaye Griffiths) modern slavery and drug offences, while also disclosing that Joe Tate (Ned Porteus) orchestrated the plot.

Consumed by remorse, Robert further reveals Joe had been blackmailing him and Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) regarding the death of their brother John (Oliver Farnworth), which he captured on video, reports the Daily Star.

Moira is shattered by the entire disclosure and presses Robert to approach the police, threatening to do so herself. As Cain prepares for his operation for prostate cancer, Moira withholds the revelation, though she shortly departs to challenge Joe.

While Moira wields a shotgun at Home Farm, a confrontation with Joe unfolds, but the charged situation is disrupted by Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough).

As incensed Moira maintains her position against Joe, will she commit an act she subsequently regrets?

Later in the week, Moira encounters Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) while out walking, and she wastes no time in confronting her regarding Joe's conduct. Dawn is utterly rattled by the revelation and implores Moira to discover more about the circumstances.

She learns that her fiancé, Joe, was entirely responsible for Moira's incarceration after orchestrating a set-up, and she is determined to hear the complete account.

In recent episodes of ITV, Dawn cautioned Joe never to deceive her again following Robert's disclosure about the video footage of Victoria killing John.

Now that she has learned her partner employed blackmail to secure Moira's imprisonment with the aim of acquiring Butlers Farm, will she ultimately bring their relationship to an end?

Joe and Dawn's affair commenced in 2025 when she was unfaithful to her husband, Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle), and fell in love wit the businessman.

She ultimately selected Joe over her marriage to Billy, who was compelled to depart Home Farm and leave his children behind in a devastating separation.

Is Dawn's relationship with Joe on the verge of being revealed as an enormous error of judgment?

Meanwhile, Cain intends to call off his cancer surgery, but can Moira and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) persuade him otherwise?

With considerable matters weighing on her mind, Moira opens up to sister-in-law Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) about her strained relationship with her husband, while Cain consults with Liam, and before long, Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) is contributing his counsel as well.

On Wednesday (April 29), viewers will witness a special episode for Moira and Cain as they share a poignant heart-to-heart regarding their future.

Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV and ITVX
