Emmerdale: Cain exposes Nate's identity and affair with Moira
Emmerdale fans have been left concerned after a character appeared to die during the episode.
During Monday's installment of the ITV soap (April 13), there was fresh hope for Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) ahead of her plea hearing, as her loved ones uncovered damning proof to help prove her innocence.
However, despite Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) making an effort to clear her name, Moira's road to freedom won't be easy.
Robert feels guilty over his part in Moira's arrest and prepares to hand himself in to the police, but is interrupted by Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt), who is on a phone call to Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards), who is also on the phone.
Bear recalls removing the number plates from Ray Walters' (Joe Absolom) car after finding it splattered in blood, before they were hidden by Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths). Aaron persuades Robert to let him investigate the new information before he gives his confession about planting evidence in her cottage.

Meanwhile, Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) went to visit Cain (Jeff Hordley) in the hospital, who is receiving treatment after he was hit by a car, and urged him to convince Miora not to plead guilty to Celia's crimes.
Cain desperately tried to convince his wife to change her plea, but she remains firm in her decision in hopes of a lesser prison sentence.
During their conversation, Cain could be seen sharing the hospital ward with another patient in a bed next to him, who had grey hair and was lying on one side.
Later in the episode, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) visited her grandfather Cain, the mysterious man had disappeared as his hospital bed was empty but had been freshly made, leaving viewers concerned that he had suddenly died.

A third joked: "BREAKING the guy in the bed next to Cain has disappeared…#Emmerdale", as another suggested: " Fellow in bed next to Cain Must have died of Boredom #Emmerdale."
"The fella next to Cain could George in Corrie some business, the Dingles have bored him to death, them, or Jacob #Emmerdale", explained one fan while another penned: "Dead body man being pushed in a wheelchair to the morgue #Emmerdale."
