Bombshell moment Trump's 'cognitive decline' addressed on live TV
NBC show MS NOW aired a humiliating takedown of the US president.

NBC host Katy Tur dared to go where no other mainstream news anchor has and questioned Donald Trump’s “mental acuity” live on air. While presenting her MS NOW show Katy Tur Reports, she attacked the 79-year-old’s alleged “cognitive decline”, asking: “Is Donald Trump well?” as viewers praised her for her bold style.
Tur began: “Is his head in the presidency? Does he have the mental acuity to lead this country? More people are starting to doubt that. Democrats, of course, have always doubted it. This is being brought out in two new polls – the first one, from The Washington Post, ABC and Ipsos which finds the number of people who thinks he lacks the mental sharpness to serve effectively is now climbing – 56%.”

She then examined another poll, explaining: “The second from Reuters and Ipsos showed six in 10 Americans now say President Trump is becoming more erratic as he ages. That includes a growing number of Democrats, independents and Republicans.
“Why is that? Well, the apparent sleeping during cabinet meetings and Oval Office visits, probably are not helping.
“Neither are the stories about how he’s forcing his top aides to wear his preferred brand of shoes and buying them in incorrect sizes that he’s guessed they wear.”

She added: “He also doesn’t sound as energetic and clear as he did even a few years ago, comparatively speaking of course. Case in point, the wild asides mid-thought.
“He has always done that to a degree, but now he is doing it in the middle of White House cabinet meetings, largely defined by deadly serious issues like the war in Iran or alleged political prosecutions.”
A clip then played of Trump going on a tangent about his favourite Sharpie pen in the middle of a cabinet meeting, quoting a chat with the company that they claim never actually happened.
Tur signed off with a blistering: “Interrupted a cabinet meeting to tell a story he fabricated or hallucinated… about his favourite pen.”
