Our Farm Next Door star Clive Owen was overseeing the lambing season during the final episode of the beloved Channel 4 show.
Clive Owen says lambing 'never loses its magic'
Channel 4's latest episode of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids captured Clive Owen in the throes of his 36th lambing season at Ravenseat farm.
The programme showcased the ongoing renovations at Anty John's derelict home alongside the farm's routine upkeep, delighting viewers with scenes of new-born lambs.
A stalwart of lambing time, Clive expressed a mix of nostalgia and practical wisdom.
While driving to the field to tend to the new additions, he said: "It's lambing time, of course, favourite time of the year. Used to be! Used to be.
"It can be a wonderful time, even after all these years, you're still- it's still nice to see the next crop of lambs coming. It never loses its magic. It's a wonderful time of year, of course it is. It's the start of everything, every lamb counts. You just don't do 16-hour days as easy as you used to."

The seasoned farmer was seen tending to the ewes and their offsprings, explaining that while the young lambs gain independence within days, early vigilance is essential.
Reflecting on the passage of time, Clive remarked: "So yeah, these hills are getting steeper, that's the only snag!
"I don't understand why, but they are. But no, we're still here and doing it. We've loved doing it. It's not the easiest place to farm, but there's nice views."

Before the lambs frolicked in the fields, audiences caught an intimate look at them just hours post-birth, reports Gloucestershire Live.
Amanda Owen, alongside her children in the barn, was seen tending to the newborns. She emphasised the urgency for the lambs to feed swiftly to gain a surge of vitality.

Narrating the scene, she remarked: "Everybody thinks that lambing time is just, 'Oh yeah, lambs coming out of sheep' but actually there's a lot more to it than that. In fact quite a lot more to it than that."
