She wrote, "Scan results are in and I'm pleased to say my chemotherapy is doing its thing so far! The treatment continues for now, with round 4 commencing tomorrow morning.
"I got chatting to various other patients today in the waiting room, and the physical and mental exhaustion of having cancer was the theme of every conversation. It really is a heck of an illness to deal with. Blood tests, scans, anxious waits, recurrence of cancer just when you thought you were in the clear for a while - it's no fun. But with the sun shining and my 3 year anniversary on the horizon, I'm still very grateful for my lot.
"So if you're dealing with your own diagnosis right now, I'm right there with you. One day at a time, and don't forget to celebrate the small things."
